Note:
As.....as, The same as, Different from, Like, The same....as
is placed after to be (am/is/are/was/were) *For Regular Adjective,or after the verb*For regular Adverb
Example:
1. Tina is as tall as Ani
2. This exercise is as easy as the last one
3. Andi works as hard as his brother
4. You speak as quickly as he
Different from *Different from mean “not equal “(the negative form for Possitive)
Example:
1. This book is different from that one
2. This radio is different from that one
3. John’s coat is different from Paul’s
Like *The word like mean “almost the same or similiar”
Example:
1. John’s coat is like Paul’s
2. John’s new car looks like Paul
The same....as *is used with noun and as.....as *is used with adjective
Example:
1. The pencil is the same length as the other one
This pencil is as long as the other one
2. This street is the same width as the other one
The street is as wide as the other one
3. The store is the same distance as the other one
This store is as far as the other one
4. This student is the same height as the other one
This student is as tall as the other one
As....as also used with Expression of quantity(much,many,litlle,few)and expression of
quantity followed by nouns

more......than (for two syllable adjective)

-er than or more than is placed after the to be(am/is/are/was/were) *For Regular Adjective,or after the verb*For Regular Adverb.
Example:

3. She speaks English more fluently than he
-er than is used for 1 syllable

C.Superlative(To compare one thing with two or more other thing)
Using: The.....-est(for one syllable adjective)
The most(for two syllable adjective)
Note:
The....-est or the most than is placed after the to be(am/is/are/was/were) *For Regular Adjective,or after the verb*For Regular Adverb.
Example:
1. Yesterday was The hottest day of the year
2. That was The Most boring film I’ve ever seen
3. Tina dressed The Most beautifully of all the guests in the party
The suffix –est is used with the same words that –er is used with
The –est is used for 1 syllable:
